Jason does not want to be the next American Idol. And let’s face it, we should be cool with that–Jason OBVIOUSLY is! This is simply not his scene. What part of this do his exuberant fans not understand? Bless his heart. No one can convince me that he forgot the lyrics. He clearly chose songs, arrangements and lyrics which would set him free of this competition. With a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye he hummed a few bars in lieu of the lyrics. Could it be fear of success or does he know truly in his heart that he does not want to be the next American Idol? My bet is that he looks around him, noting genuine souls like Brooke being shown the door after bringing it for the original intent of the competition. He is no fool. Jason senses his genius resides elsewhere. Jason strikes me as competent and capable. His powers of observation and his reasoning skills are in tact. Even he must know that he is still in this competition in large part do to his popularity–not his talent. I wonder if he has been disillusioned, thus choosing–actively choosing–to get the heck out of dodge! For goodness sake, I hope his young female fans put him out of his misery so he can get on with what he wants to be doing. Life is too short to be lallygagging in disillusion stew

I think Jason Castro is great!!! No matter what the judges throw at him, he has had great poise and grace, throughout the entire competition. I admire him, a great deal. He has a beautiful, soulful voice. Jason’s music speaks to our souls-Jason ministers to us.
I think he has the most distinct voice-he is genuine. The lyrics to his own songs are beautiful. NO ONE CAN TOUCH HIM. THEY CAN’T EVEN COME CLOSE!!!
Jason has a rare and natural talent. I had a great feeling, when I woke up this morning, (when the sunlight hit the kithen), that Jason Castro was going to be safe, tonight, and he will, even, go on to WIN AMERICAN IDOL!!!
Did you ever notice Jason Castro’s initials were JC? That’s because he, clearly, has the light of Jesus in him and no one can take that away from him, not even those nasty judges. His light will prevail, for the remainder of the competition, just like it has, thus far, and Jesus will be with him, all the way. Why do you think he, always, has a great big grin on? because he smokes pot? I know not-but because he has the light of Jesus in him. No one can take that away from him-not even the judges, on American Idol.
Jason sings like an angel and looks like an angel. He will stay in this competition to the very end and end up, WINNING AMERICAN IDOL!!!
I just want to say thank you, Jason Castro, for blessing us with your beautiful voice and your beautiful smile, each week. When the season is over, I will, truly miss that, but I know you were put on this earth to do great things. I cannot wait to see you singing on the steps of Texas A and M University, winning American Idol, seeing you on tour, this summer, but most of all, I cannot wait to see what you do with your life. God has great things in store for you. Keep shining your light, as only you can do, and God will, continue, to bless you, like you have been blessing us!!!
GO JASON!!!
